CAPACITY CHARGE MITIGATION PLAN

The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) recently published the official peak intervals for the 2019-2020 Hot Season and we can confirm that HFM successfully forecasted 4 out of the 4 peak days!

What does it mean for the subscribed sites?

HFM may have provided a tailored action plan or they may have derived their own. In any case, if the action plan was properly implemented on site during the alert days advised via email by our team, the subscribed sites should experience savings in their Capacity Charge for the next Capacity Year (commencing 1 October 2020).

How to subscribe?

Each year, we open subscriptions from 1st of April to the 1st October. We recommend signing up for the program during this timeframe to allow time for the building’s unique Action Plan to be developed and for our clients to make any required preparations to implement the relevant actions during the Hot Season; however any clients interested in joining the program outside the mentioned timeframe are also welcome to do so.

If you are considering joining HFM’s Capacity Mitigation Plan service, don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss any questions you might have regarding this service. ([email protected] / 1300 021 420)
