Summary of the Project
A widely-known health provider recently engaged HFM to review their existing electricity and gas agreements and undertake a tender specification, analysis and recommendation review for the Electricity & Gas tender for 11 of their sites cross WA.
Goal
The main objective of this project was to undertake the tender specification, analysis, recommendation and contract negotiation for the Electricity and Gas provision to a portfolio of sites for this health care provider for a 3-year period.
Process
The energy market is made up of several components which determine the overall charges of a site.
In order to identify the most suitable energy retailer for the client’s needs, HFM conducted:

Results
As a result of this project, this client from the health sector will reduce their energy costs by $1,220,000 per annum, distributed as follows: $1,085,000 in electricity and $135,000 in gas.
