Summary of the Project
HFM was recently involved in the Electricity & Gas Procurement process for a well-known Australian University across their various sites in Perth. As a result of this process, it is forecasted that our client will save over $1.7 Million in a 3-year period, compared to their previously existing electricity and gas contracts.
Goal
The main objective of this project was to undertake the tender specification, analysis, recommendation and tender evaluation for the Electricity and Gas provision to this University for a 3-year period.
Process
This project was undertaken in 2 phases, as follows:
- Phase 1: Data review and tender
- Phase 2: Transition and Account setup
Results
As a result of this project, a forecast based on the historical data of this client, over the 3-year period the client will benefit from combined savings of $1,705,085.
