HFM Visits the Comm Air Australia Factory.

COMM AIR IS THE ONLY AIR CONDITIONING SUPPLIERS MANUFACTURING IN WA

The HFM Asset Management team visited the Comm Air Factory in Perth

HFM is always looking to stay abreast of the latest in all areas of our industry.

Recently several members of our team were lucky enough to visit the Comm Air Australia factory located in Bibra Lake, WA.

Established in 2009, Comm Air is the only air conditioning suppliers manufacturing here in WA.

Their team’s skill and passion for their work are obvious from the moment you walk through the door.

A special thank you to Bharat Tejpal and Mark Dale for showing us around the factory.

Working with members of the Comm Air team over many years.

Comm Air’s staff are largely ex-Carrier-APAC employees who weren’t ready to see the design and manufacture of packaged and split systems in WA end. HFM’s

General Manager of Technical Services, David Chokolich is also ex APAC and HFM has had the pleasure of working with members of the Comm Air team over many years.

HFM recently delivered a mechanical services upgrade project at Northlands Shopping Centre.

Due to the stringent requirements of some tenants on site HFM chose to utilise Comm Air’s products as they are highly customisable and were able to satisfy all requirements for the site.

A match to the biggest global air conditioning providers

It is exciting to see that a smaller local company can match it with the biggest global providers as they are able to be dynamic and adapt to the client’s specific challenges.

During our tour, we got the chance to peek behind the scenes and delve into the details of Comm Air’s operation.

This reinforced the quality and reliability of the end-product that can handle even the harshest challenges and conditions that Australia’s climate provides.

  •  Understand the various activities and processes specific to a winery;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Develop a business case for further investment

CNC The highlight of the tour

For our team, the highlight of the tour was the computer numerical control (CNC) driven pipe bending machine which dealt with a copper pipe like it was plasticine.

Comm Air’s cylindric fan with built-in DC motor and modelling and equipment selection software platform developed in-house were also very impressive.

This reinforced the quality and reliability of the end-product that can handle even the harshest challenges and conditions that Australia’s climate provides.
