Earth Hour 2018
HFM team is participating in Earth Hour 2018
It’s no secret that HFM is an environmentally friendly company by nature – Our combined daily efforts not only have a positive impact on the performance of buildings across Australia but also help them reduce their carbon footprint.
Our planet needs us more than we think, and Earth Hour is a great campaign to raise awareness by collectively taking action to show our commitment to bettering the environment.
What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) which started in Sydney on 31 March 2007. Over the years, it has become a global campaign to raise awareness of the use of energy by turning off non-essential electrical appliances, during the last Saturday of March, for one hour, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
It is important to understand that the main aim of this campaign is not only to save energy, but also to raise awareness about the pollution that comes as a result of the generation of electric energy with traditional means.
