Earth Hour 2018
The HFM team is participating in Earth Hour 2018
It is no secret that HFM is an environmentally friendly company by nature. Our combined daily efforts not only have a positive impact on the performance of Australian buildings but also help them reduce their carbon footprint.
Our planet needs us more than we think, and Earth Hour is a great campaign to raise awareness. This year, we can show our commitment to the environment by taking action together.
What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) which started in Sydney on 31 March 2007. Over the years, it has become a global campaign to raise awareness of energy use by turning off non-essential electrical appliances for an hour. Every year, Earth Hour takes place during the last Saturday of March from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
It is essential to understand that the primary aim of this campaign is not only to save power but also to raise awareness about the pollution that comes as a result of the generation of electric energy with traditional means.

HFM’s approach to Earth Hour 2018
Our approach to Earth Hour this year is an open invitation to our team members, clients, friends and family to participate in the Earth Hour campaign. Together, we can take this opportunity to look at the stars!
At HFM Asset Management, we offer a wide range of services to help buildings become more efficient to run. Strategies will vary from one building to another. However, certain activities can help any building improve and become more efficient.
