City of Sydney Environmental Grants

Building improvement of commercial, apartments and industrial buildings in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Ballina

The Council of the City of Sydney is committed to the city’s future, prosperity, and liveability.

For this, an extensive community consultation with residents, businesses, government, statutory authorities, visitors, and educational/cultural institutions took place in 2008; resulting in the development of Sustainable Sydney 2030, a strategic plan to help the city achieve their targets.

As part of this master program, the City of Sydney has developed and implemented a series of projects, including several grants and sponsorship programs to support initiatives and actions towards a more sustainable city.

ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE – RATINGS & ASSESSMENT GRANT

This grant supports environmental ratings, certifications, audits, and assessments for buildings. This program helps building owners to start measuring their environmental performance.
