Water Management Plans
Australia is in a water crisis with dam levels at all time lows. Water restrictions are in place at different levels across each state and there are many requirements for commercial properties to ensure their operations are water efficient.
HFM stays up to date with all the legislation and initiatives for each State Government and water service provider.
HFM has developed a range of water management and assessment tools that can be applied to any property type, all of our tools are designed to form the basis of any existing government regulated water management plan.
Our Water auditing systems include:
- Desktop and detailed water audits
- Water meter analysis / flow rate and pressure testing
- Sewerage Discharge reviews
- Water Efficiency Management Plans
- Water Action Plans
- Authority submissions and rebates

HFM has completed Water Action Plans for clients in all states, working with the Queensland Water Commission, Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) in NSW and the Department of Sustainability and Environment (Victoria).
Staff members Matt Holmes and Robert Rye are accredited by the Queensland Water Commission to complete Water Efficiency Management Plans (WEMP).
