HFM assists City of Perth Lord Mayor launch City Switch Green Office initiative
HFM Asset Management General Manager Damien Moran joined the Right Honorable Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi to launch the City of Perth's participation in the City Switch Green Office program.
The City Switch program is a national tenant energy management program run in partnership between the cities of Sydney, North Sydney, Parramatta, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and now Perth.
The initiative is aimed at tenants reducing their energy consumption and thus reducing their carbon (CO2) emissions.
Damien spoke to the audience about how rating tools such as the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) can assist in benchmarking a tenant's energy consumption and performance against other similar buildings. Damien continued to describe some of the ways HFM can assist building owners, managers and tenants to reduce their energy consumption through our range of toolboxes. HFM has four accredited NABERS assessors.
