Ian Knox - Managing Director
Ian is a founding director of HFM and its Principal Consultant.
With vast experience and technical knowledge gained from running
commercial buildings, Ian is an expert on the "as-built world" and
is highly skilled at maximising available resources for a positive
result.
Ian has been responsible for multiple industry changing
developments and initiatives over the past 25 years, including
invitations to join the (Federal) Renewable Energy Advisory Panel
in 1992 and the WA Water Corporation's Customer Advisory Panel.

Damien Moran - Director
Damien has over 18 years' experience in the mechanical services
industry and six years' in building efficiency auditing across
Australia. His specialist area of expertise is energy efficiency,
capital planning and facility support services.
Damien has been an accredited NABERS assessor since 2005
and is also a CBD Accredited assessor. He is a member of the
Property Council of WA's Sustainability Committee, a state judge
for the CitySwitch tenant efficiency program and was recently a
panel member for a Federal Government pilot study to develop a
methodology for commercial building energy use baselines.
Damien specialises in the design and implementation of building
efficiency programs for all types of properties. He is particularly
interested in embedding energy management procedures into buildings
to drive efficiency improvements.
He believes in the use of current technology and cutting edge
concepts to progressively simplify the complexities owners
currently face when making key decisions to drive building
efficiency.
Ray Bott - Development Manager
Ray is highly experienced in sustainability and facility
management within the commercial, retail, and hotel property
sector.
He has worked within and managed technical services divisions
for some of the largest property portfolios in Australia, including
the Department of Defence, commercial property, international
hotels, casinos and the in strata management region.
He has extensive experience in refurbishment projects and
engineering infrastructure upgrades. This experience is
complimented by a strong customer service focus and exceptional
technical administrative capability.
As HFM's East Coast Development Manager, Ray is also responsible
for the operational management of the Eastern States and is
particularly interested in the further development of industry
sustainability and facility management concepts.
Chris Olde - General Manager
With over 14 years' experience in the real estate and commercial
property sectors Chris is well positioned to advise clients about
the commercial benefits of successful energy management and
building efficiency measures. He also oversees financial and human
resource management and is responsible for standardising operations
and developing business improvement initiatives.
Chris was previously an Associate Director with
international real estate agency Knight Frank. There, he oversaw a
large Commercial, Industrial and Retail portfolio, primarily owned
by high net wealth individuals and listed and non-listed real
estate investment vehicles, including Dexus, Challenger, Viento and
Primewest Management. As a result of managing such a diverse
portfolio, Chris is well versed in all major trends, both past and
emerging, within many different markets.
Matt Holmes - National Systems Manager
Matt's skill set is broad - his formal education path earned him
a Bachelor of Social Science. Prior to HFM his focus was aquatic
and recreation management for assets owned by local government. He
has extensive experience in operational facility management,
government process, OH&S policy development and asset
management, including facility design and development
consultation.
Matt is now responsible for the data management, analysis and
interrogation of data through our website utilitymonitoring.com.
Matt has completed over 85 NABERS assessments Australia wide,
making him one of the most experienced auditors available.
Bevan Tyler - Systems Manager
Bevan has over 20 years' experience working with national and
international hotel operators. Previous roles have included Group
Operations Manager at Broadwater Hospitality and Group Systems
Manager at five Accor Perth properties.
Bevan is responsible for Electricity Procurement, sales and
support of Irequest and M1 training, data management for TMAR and
associated auditing works, IT and communications systems and
project management.
He has a wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge and
adopts a practical, customer-focused approach to finding solutions
to operational issues, strategic planning and development.
